Interferential Stimulation

Interferential Electrical Stimulation: The clinical uses of electrical stimulation include pain management, muscle stimulation for alpha motor nerves, relaxation of muscle spasms, edema reduction, and wound healing.  The medium frequency electrical stimulation mimics the Type C Nociceptive Nerve Fibers firing range, and therefore blocks the receptor sites for pain.
