About Dr. Michael F. Alden

Dr. Michael F. Alden received his Doctorate degree in 1994 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, which has been the Fountainhead of Chiropractic since 1897. Dr. Alden earned the most prestigious clinical award possible for each graduating class at Palmer College, The Clinical Excellence Award, showing early signs of his desire to provide only the best care for patients. He has practiced in the Summerville area since graduation and at the Cedar Square location since 1996. Dr. Alden is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed by the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association, The Palmer College of Chiropractic President’s Club, International Chiropractic Association, past-President of the Palmer College Alumni Association of South Carolina, Palmer College Alumni Student Recruitment Representative for South Carolina, and is a member of the Summerville Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Alden and his wife Melissa have two children, Ashley and Christopher. Ashley is a 2001 Summerville High graduate and holds a Masters Degree from Clemson University. Christopher attends Ashley Ridge High School and has played travel Ice Hockey since the age of seven.
